Advocacy Call to Action
Friends of Metro Parks is sounding the alarm about two legislative proposals that threaten the future of the Summit Metro Parks. House Bill 28 and House Bill 96 (part of the state budget). Both could significantly undermine the funding and land protection tools that keep our parks open, safe and growing.

Our Mission
Our mission is to serve as a dedicated, collective champion for the parks and public resources of The Summit Metro Parks. We will do this by serving as a common voice of our members and the community advocating for the best interests of the parks and by supporting outreach programming designed to foster park stewards.
